We have Flower planters on the front of house as well as others in the garden. We try to keep them fresh. Winter in the Villages and our sun location has in the past caused a loss of vibrancy until we discovered a Flower named Cyclamen.

We now plant these in our pots and flower boxes in November and they last well into March with little care. They endure frost and send up great flower stems. Keep that name in your memory bank.
