The bottom line is they install the system (and get the tax credits) and you pay them a pre-determined monthly payment for your electricity. The net out your usage at the end of the year, and you will likely be on the hook for a "true-up" balance. It's like a lease... usually a nightmare if you sell your house and the agreement is not transferrable. Not to mention the kid that showed up was completely condescending and a little jerk, lol.

Run away from this type agreement, when you go to sell the house the new owners gets the "lease" and in many cases they do not want this.....
