Come on folks. Most places make a 200% to 300% profit on wine. Especially the low end wine. If they buy it for $10, they sell it for $30. Only when you get up into the $50 plus bottles does the margin drop, but they still sell it for $100. I actually find Garvino's reasonable. I can buy a decent bottle of wine in the shop for $20 to $30 and they charge a $10 fee to serve it with live music. That is cheaper then any restaurant. When it is a cold as it has been lately, you will find me there and not the square.
