Remove and replace all shingles, gutters and downspouts around the entire home another $44,000, totaling $46,500. This seems ridiculously high to me but my insurance company agreed to pay for the repairs minus the small deductible we had to pay. The roofing company dealt directly with my insurance company coming to an agreed amount for repairs. The repairs were completed, we are happy with the results but dose this seem a bit high to you? I know lots of other homeowners are currently going through similar roof repairs as ours here in The Villages, are your repairs this expensive? Even if it is way out of the box what can you the homeowner really do about it? The roofing company and your insurance company come to an agreed settlement for repairs then the insurance company sends you out the checks. I guess at this point your only option is to sign over the checks to the roofing company? No wonder our premiums keep going up! Your thoughts or do you have any advice??
