Default The Villages VA Clinic is cutting benefits to veterans

VIETNAM VETS and Others HEARING AID BENEFIT BEING CUT/CHANGED?
The Villages VA Clinic is cutting benefits to veterans by cutting community care options. These private practice appointments had been put in place by President Trump during his last term if there was a burden to vet in going to VA Clinic. In my case, they told me I could no longer drive the five minutes in my golf cart to my hearing aids specialist for adjustments and instead have to now come into the VA clinic with a drive of over 45 minutes. A guy there with a glee in his voice said they no longer could have the contracts out there for community care costing many dollars and they have to find cutbacks. Under the current president Trump‘s administration cut backs I think audiology could find other ways to cut back besides the veterans community care services. Community care gives service within 24 hours, VA audiology takes days or weeks to get in. I wonder if they can even make the adjustments on all the different types of hearing aids we have out here now. Maybe a few less bureaucrats and their salaries replaced by some good clerical to control the community care contracts is in order. Or the contracts could list adjustment visits at a small charge vs thousands just for a contract to a service. There are many areas that could be cut back besides veteran benefits. If you want to fact check, “try” Villages VA Clinic at:
