Our sons and daughter are all accomplished cooks though the younger son is the more adventurous cook. What I find interesting is how many guys assume that my wife does all the cooking.

You are correct I think it’s a certain age group that still thinks all women should or do the cooking.
Our boys both do all the cooking, youngest retired @ 40 from his practice, to open 5 high end restaurants. His food is amazing, Scotch Certified for pairing.
Daughter is still pulling 60 hour call weeks, but her boys are very adept in the kitchen, with southern Asian fusion, and have my baking skills. Granddaughter does ok with Asian food, failed at baking, kitchen is her least favorite pass time.
Boys research restaurants outside of TV when they visit for different experiences. Hoping Middleton or Eastport will have a great venue.
