The fact that you can't find any information on the Pegasus PM3200 Plus system should tell you something.
You are not going to get a better three stage filter system than the Nova system. You can upgrade it with double carbon filters to get even better filtration. Unless you are filling your pool, you will only need to change the filters once per year. Express Water makes a similar system. You can research that to get more info on the type of system Nova installs.
For water softeners, all salt systems are basically the same with the exception of build quality. The Nova system works well and is probably half the price of the Pegasus and doesn't work any different except on the Pegasus, the filters are built into the softener which is not a good thing. Pegasus will tell you you never have to change the carbon filter but we know from experience that it can fail and then you are stuck. You can't guarantee a carbon filter won't fail or need changing over time.
I have the Nova filter and softener for almost 4 years now and they work well, never had a problem and the company is very responsive if you ever have an issue. Again, as some have said, you are over researching this and I understand that because Pegasus does a hard sell here in the Villages. Any time a company critisizes another company, that's a warning to stay away.
Once after I had my Nova filter and softener installed, I had my water professionally tested and it came back excellent. Then I called Pegasus, had them come over, didn't show or tell them what water system I had. They took a sample and told me by using some scam test that my water was no good and I needed their system to clean it up, LOL.
Anyway, at the end of the day, most here in the Villages use the Nova system and although you may find a couple of stories, generally, everyone is satisfied and there is no reason to waste your money on an expensive system that will work just as well as a less expensive system.
