Everybody Must Get Stoned...or Corianed or Formica'd
Well, I did it. I did not think I would. But I did.
I picked granite for a new countertop.
I had no intention of picking granite. I told myself it was not practical. I told myself it was a trend that would soon wave goodbye. I told myself I did not want to spend that much money. I told myself that I really did not like it that much anyway...uh huh...
But then...there it was...a little square...with my name on it...there it was...
a beautiful little sample of granite that was all in the colors of a turtle sundae. You know turtle sundaes...vanilla and butterscotch and chocolate...all swirled together.
It will arrive soon in a kitchen near me...right around the corner from where I am writing this.
So now, I need to know some stuff from people who already have granite countertops.
A couple of friends have told me to be really careful about oil and mayo spills.
And somebody told me that she shines up her granite with "Pledge"???
But basically, I am clueless about this stuff. And I want to take good care of it.
So I thought I would ask the TOTVers if they have any advice for me on how to take care of granite countertops.
Thanks for any help you can give me on this.
