I grew up poor outside small town in Midwest (the flyover states) (though I didn’t know i was poor at time) (yes, somebody always has it worse) had draw water in wash tub to take bath. Then, had to empty it. When I got out on my own use think I was in heaven with indoor bath tub and toilet.
