Cutting off the dogleg on 12 isn't that great of a feat. Depending on your angle, it's about a 225-245 yard carry. I've hit driver, 8 iron into that Green from the Blue Tees (albeit, not intentionally).

Charles Reiter who's playing in the Houston Open this week, could hit a 3 Wood onto that Green, from the Golds.
