Just took delivery of a new Alumacar "Street Legal" from Don's golf carts. As it came off the truck the Misses remarked it looked like a used cart. Pretty dirty and rust on seat belt inserts and the frame. Took it out the first night and found the rear lights did not work. Some pounding in the front end from the windshield banging on the frame. Believe the tires are out of round. The ride seems pretty good besides the tire problem and plenty of power with the Curtis 18HP AC brush-less motor. Like the two switch setting for 15MPH in golf cart mode and 25 plus in road mode. Going up Mallory hill it slows to about 19.5 MPH worst case. Runs 27.4 on the level stretches....the same down hill with the regenerative braking system!
