Alterations to the exterior of a home are prohibited by the Deed Restrictions of most every community in The Villages.
Everyone seems to understand you can't just paint your home "magenta" ... but it's ok to change the color of your home, using LED lights? It defies logic.

My deed restrictions do not address "alterations". They address "structural alterations", "additions", and "repainting". I would suggest that you ask the ARC office and the deed compliance office about this because they are responsible for actually enforcing the deed restrictions. I have done this, and they told me that an ARC application was not required for undereave lighting changes. They seemed very familiar with the issue.
