My aunt and I had gone to see her
13 Going on 30 at the AMC in Oldsmar, Florida and really liked it. This aunt was the wife of the Anzio battle veteran whom I had helped take care of in Fall of 1994 outside of Chicago. He had lost an arm, a leg and part of his skull while a scout directing fire on German positions. He had received a Silver Star for his heroism but had kept the medal tucked away in the attic. Probably because 6 of the 8 of the men he commanded were killed in action. Or, did not survive their wound.
