Santiago Rec Center is probably the worst of the Rec centers. Nothing there but a few meeting rooms. I would like to see a soft renovation to include an Electronic Game Room w/ Big screen TV. While I am dreaming, the return of the Restaurant at Santiago would be great or at least a Deli where we could sit & get a bite & watch the golfers. I went to a couple of the other rec centers & am even more disappointed in my Santiago Rec Center.
The Tear down of Paradise Rec & inside renovation of Hacienda Rec gave me home until I read Santiago will be closed for HVAC, Duct Cleaning and Concrete work Monday, April 21, 2025, through Friday, April 25, 2025.Thats it ! I was in hope of more of a renovation. We already have no walking , nor bike trails, & no dining. I hope our area does not get over looked. We have such great neighborhoods. I hope the Village supports us too with a remodel of Santiago. Just say'n. Will
