I had an older Roomba robot vacuum and it did well and was still going strong when I got rid of it up north for our move here and the only maintenance was the battery (a little pricy for the OEM vs Amazon) every couple years and brush replacement (minimal). I did not get another one here but I would caution if you get one and spend any time at home it will be disruptive while running while your home vs. the old days when you would have it clean while you were at work (or now at pickle ball, the pool, etc. LOL). I have a neighbor that has one and this is his issue per se.
