Among other information, I care: - Whether anyone was hurt
- What caused the accident
- Whether any factor(s) may have contributed to the accident that might contribute to further accidents, and if so, whether anything is being done at that location (or others with similar issues) to reduce the risks
- How/whether sewer service operations were affected
- The extent of the property damage, who will pay for it and when to expect repairs
- How or whether traffic might be affected during repairs
Also of interest, when did the accident happen? Who reported it? Who was involved? Was anyone changed? How is the driver now? Any passengers? (I expect at least this much was reported in the newspaper article, although I didn't see it. It wasn't included in the online version.)
Maybe C. C. should stop selling booze? Maybe booze had nothing to do with it. Hard to make any informed opinions about whether anything could be done to improve public safety, or any "lessons learned" could be had, without knowing any facts.
Yes, the sun will come up in the morning, but why is that relative? It would come up in the morning even if none of us ever posted comments on any TOTV thread. It even came up the morning of 9-12-01.
