But, from a practical perspective, why do I care about using a ceiling fan if I can achieve the same result by just lowering the AC temperature a degree or two. The value of the fan is that it now only moves air cooler than body temperature over your skin which it cooling, but also by doing so it increases the evaporation rate of perspiration which is a big cooling effect.
