Same question for an in-ground spa/hot tub. Would you do it again?
I wouldn’t recommend a swim spa. Swimming against a current is very suboptimal and those things are both expensive and high maintenance. Also, you
have to swim at a constant speed or you will either swim through the current or get pushed back by the current. I use a super swim pro swim teather system to swim in our in-ground pool and love it. It’s very simple and basic but works excellent, you can vary your swim efforts at will, it is very inexpensive, and is totally maintenance free. If you google it you can see videos of how the system works. Good luck with whatever you choose.
