totally agree, especially when the developer stopped the custom home builds and went to the more spec standardized build with solid walls and various stages of completion versus 5 years ago.
The best part about the villages was the custom build aspect, but consultants love standardization, as does the rest of the world in many consumer products. Homes are not one of them, but profits and growth override many great concepts of yesteryear.
