Drinking 8-10 cocktails 3X per week is an unbelievable amount of booze and if you got in a car would certainly be DUI material. Just quitting this alcoholic level of drinking may be the main reason for your health improvement. Going with all the current health fads and changing many things you eat may also have helped. These are all anecdotal comments, all based on a study of one. It would never qualify in the least as a serious analysis as too many variables were changed at once. Hey if you feel good and you like what you are doing, keep it up, but don’t in any way think this is good medical advice.
