At first reading, I thought the OP's position was kind of crazy, but I've since seen the error of my ways.

I think if we were to go to those large Plastic Trash containers, color coded with Liquid Lights (LED's) to match the owner's interests, we'd have a vast improvement to our current, dour ambiance.

Maybe add some painted "white crosses" to the inside of the flip-over cover, just to get all the bases covered.
