My post was "tongue in cheek". Dolphins, whales, walrus and seagulls breath air. Seals, sealions, walrus rest on shore or floating objects. Sea birds of all kinds need shelter during storms. Sea life is suseptible to rapid temperature and salinity changes (climate change). Undoubtedly, 40 days and nights of storms severe enough to cover the earth would be deadly to all life forms right down to the bottom of the seas deepest areas. Sediment washed into the seas and dramatic increase in pressures 8n the deep sea, and decreas at new sea level above the highest mountains.
Soooo much fuss when God, who created the heaven and earth in only 7 days, could wipe humans out and (presumably) repopulate the world with a better, kinder mor loving human species.
