The more important question here s: why didn’t you pull off the road to let someone pass you? 19mph is not fast, it’s actually pretty slow. Almost every turn on the golf cart paths can be driven faster than 20mph. IMO, it’s the slower golf carts that pose the problem. Why is it safer to travel 200mph on the autobahn than it is to drive 70 mph here in the states? 1 of the main reasons is that slower traffic has to move over to the right lanes or get a ticket or have their license revoked. Same laws should apply here which they are but only on 3 lane hwys like i75 and i95. This should be applied to any 2 lane road here in the villages too.
