This is the part that upsets me about people driving without governors, golf carts weren’t built like a Corvette to go 190 miles an hour and stop and turn on a dime, they were built to do 20 or 21. I’m sure many of us have jammed on the brakes to avoid hitting another cart or a car that didn’t see us and had the realization that we were riding in nothing but plastic if we actually collided. So I don’t appreciate the people who think it’s OK to drive faster than The Villages rules which match the equipment and path construction. that can cause harm to others if they have.
A friend of mine had her cart tipped over when a passer cut too close to her rear end and will be in rehab for months how can we say that that’s an OK thing. The driver didn’t even stop when others were rushing to aid.
