Our first experiences with Seco was 2007. In all our years in TV we may have had a flicker even during Hurricanes.
After moving to 3 different New Villages, we did find out as they added more to the grids the power would be disrupted for safety reasons.

Then again in our homes we built up north power was disrupted for the same reason. Usually 3-5 hours, not enough for refrigeration food issues, while utility workers did their jobs. Yesterday one of our northern homes had a power loss for 3 hours, due to animal/bird damage. Which is code for squirrels ate through something.
Thankfully most no longer have multiple clocks to reset.
