Doess anyone know of any homes here in the Villages hit by lightning during the severe storms in the past week?

Last night, I believe there were several lightning strikes.

Also, don't forget, now that we are in "the rainy storm season", everytime you see a bolt of lightning strike the ground, some homes, somewhere are getting a huge induced power surge destroying the electronics in their homes eventhough the lightning only struck near by. So, call Lenhart or Pikes electric to get a whole house surge protector before it's too late. If you use your favorite electrician make sure they install the Eaton Ultra or the PSP surge protectors. Some others are good but not as effective and some can actually catch fire if the surge is extreemly large. Small one time cost to protect your home and your family from this very common problem here in Central Florida and one that is not talked about because there is no spectular fire or any other physical damage execpt burnt out electronic devices.
