Odd that the third Monday in February will never fall on February 22, Washington's actual birthday. It will also never fall on February 12, Lincoln's birthday. It's almost as if the date was intentionally chosen to be between the two as a way to honor both.

I would just point out that the national media often refers to Presidents Day as being a "Federal" holiday. This is just inaccurate reporting. Where it is a holiday, Presidents Day is a state or local holiday, not Federal. Presidents Day is not a state holiday in Florida.
