My point, an exceptional meal makes it worth it. A typical sirloin does not rank there for me.

Correct. If you order a steak in a restaurant, you are going to pay more for a lower quality meal than you can get at home. A restaurant should provide an equal or better quality steak than you can buy from a grocery store. They don't.
