I buy USDA Prime filet mignons from the Publix in Colony Plaza. Not all Publix stores sell these, and the Colony Plaza store only has them about 3 days per week. They are about 2 inches thick and very high quality, but they are not cheap, about $30 per pound. However, you will pay more than that in a restaurant that is a lower quality steak. By the way, you need to drive to the Orlando area and go to Ruth Chris or The Capital Grille to get a USDA Prime filet. As far as I know, none of the closer restaurants sell USDA Prime filets, and that includes the high priced steak restaurants, like Chophouse, Prime 3, and Mark's.
