I posted not long ago about my hip replaced 2 weeks ago and I'm doing great.
Born and raised in the Midwest, I can't help thinking about the poor people that farmed in Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin or Michigan that suffered from bad hips, aching knees and bad backs in the 1920, 1930 and 1940's when there wasn't such a thing called joint replacements.
They had to milk cows in sub-zero temps and handle heavy milk cans with joint pain that (I'm sorry to say} they took their pain to their graves.
Thank God for modern medicine.
