Please consider going for a ride and trying to find this dog on the loose before she gets hit. Someone adopted a dog from Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida (not my dog) and it got loose from the new owner in the parking lot that Petco / Michaels/ Target are in. There has been one sighting in or near Spanish Springs on Thursday, June 27th (if I'm not mistaken). The dog's name is Marilyn and she is skittish around men, so a woman would be best trying to catch her. Please help find her before she gets hit by a car. Please contact Petco if you find her. I believe they were notified about this and more than likely know how how to contact the owner. You can also contact Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida if you find her or see her.
