Default Do you wear an Apple Watch when you play golf?

So there was a thread that started a couple of days ago, asking about Apps for an Apple Watch.

(Apple Watch using golf range finder ?)

I thought I'd post some information about one available app, because it's so great. I have no connection with the company or software, but I've been a enthusiastic subscriber since it was introduced.

If you get the Pro Edition, it's about $100/year. There's a free edition, but it doesn't do much, other than keep score and give you distances. You need an Apple Watch & iPhone for the really cool features.

It gives you GPS distance. It gives you AR views of the hole. Flyby view. It keeps score all by itself. It estimates the club you used, based on your input and history. As far as I know, it has every course in The Villages (Exec & Champ).

It measures your tempo, your rhythm, your hand speed, wrist path, transition, backswing arc, impact plane, wrist rotation, & wrist close rate. It also calculates Strokes Gained metrics and tracks your handicap. It has Green reading information, similar to a PGA Pro's yardage book for many courses.

All the above, without human interaction, other than confirming your score, which you do on your watch. Takes less than 10 seconds/hole.

(You can find some legit reviews, here: (Just a moment...)

Attached is a score card, so can see what it looks like. You can see all the metrics & screens, on their website.
