There is widespread speculation that SOLOMON BROWN, a colonial fired the first shot at Lexington. Some witnesses professed it and some discredited it. Of course, no one is still alive to validate the claim one way or the other. I take license to believe that he did because it fit nicely into this moment in history that you don't seem to appreciate. Do you disagree categorically with the rest of the post?
