If this is a river cruise in Europe, then my wife and I went on it 2 years ago. Just for your info, after we went on this small river cruise, we said we would never go on another large ship cruize (Norweigen, Carnival, etc.) The small river cruises hold about 70 couples (when full) and have a crew of about 20. You sit where you want for meals and the food is great. The nicest thing about these cruises is the informality. No dress up nights. The flowers are hard to describe, except to say they are breathtaking and there are a lot of them.
You will absolutely love the trip. If they still have the one day trip to Bruge, make sure you take it. You hop a train and are there in about an hour. I would go with you, but my wife might get a little upset.
