It's extremely difficult to just try to slide it on dry. The easiest way to install is to remove your windshield (it's just a couple of bolts), cut to length, coat the channel of the door strip with dish soap, and then it slides on pretty easy.
Use a hose to rinse the soap out before reattaching the windshield, then reattach the windshield. You can slide the channel a bit before it drys and it will conform to the shape of your cart front cowling.
Looks factory when done. I told my dealer about this - I think they should install this on every cart they sell. It's a really cheap fix that looks great and works very well.

I used this same method on mine last fall. Since then have been caught in light rain to downpours and it works perfectly!
