When I was buying a new cart, I drove several manufacturers carts. Several rides were short, very short. No gap around any part of the windshield for me. That’s a no brainer.

Yes, there is a gap on a standard Yamaha. Go drive one at any golf course outside of the The Villages and you'll see it. Dealers here found a solution and it gets installed on every Yamaha sold here. There is no such thing as a "stock" Yamaha sold here in The Villages.
Dealers for Evolution are fairly new here in The Villages, and as time goes on this will become a standard option installed for them as well.
