Killing off the upper 10% would be similar to turning off the entire banking system. Care to make a guesstimate on the population of the USA after 6 months if either of those occurred? A lot of Americans have enough fat on them to survive maybe 3 months
I doubt you will find someone willing to trade their can of Spam for a wheelbarrow full of paper with dead Presidents on them or a shiny gold/silver rock. Where will you find clean drinking water?
Don't forget, the upper 10% create most of the jobs...that create taxpayers.
