Yesterday, CBS News, yes, that CBS News, exposed the bill for food and rooms submitted by 15 Democrats and 6 Republicans who went to Copenhagen looking for "green" jobs according to Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi submitted the bill for payment. She was very busy and wouldn't talk about the bill with CBS. It appears the Congressional delegation's room and food bill for two nights was $4406.00.....EACH! That would appear to be $2203.00 for each day. They stayed at a Marriott. I recently stayed at a Marriott in Key West for $139.00 a night. It must be a lot more expensive in Denmark? It looks like the "green" they were looking for came out of the taxpayers pocket.

While the average taxpayer struggles to pay the bills and prioritize spending decisions. Congress, Republicans and Democrats struggled deciding between the Russian caviar or Kobe steaks. Wait a minute, you can get a good Kobe steak for only $300. They must be big tippers. Hmmm.........

The total bill for the delegation was over $1,100,000.00. Of course that doesn't include Obama's 50 member entourage and suitcase carriers. Do you remember if Michelle Obama made the Copenhagen global warming junket....or was that the "Bring the Olympics to Chicago" Copenhagen junket? I bet the people of Denmark really like us more than before.....we spend lots of money there helping their economy.
