What about the transportation costs? $5K-$10K each? Have they never heard of Expedia? I priced a roundtrip, DC-Copenhagen leaving TOMORROW (to catch the highest possible fare) returning Saturday. $2100-$3000 round trip. And that's with NO notice. If I knew I was travelling a month from now - pricing the same trip for the end of February - the price ranges from $1300-$1500 round trip.
