These kinds of travels are a very unfortunate practice/perk for our officials.
Few of these peope are experts in 'climate change' and ecology.

Same thing when disasters strike.
We have often wondered why flying over in a chopper or plane to a devastated area provides anything more than a gawk for everyone from a staffer to the commander.

Maybe a foto op or two?(those are another chapter!!)

Maybe they don't trust the media or the gubmint's own offices of information and internal media-
the professionals at gathering news and images.

Maybe it's a case of "We've been there, We've seen......

Not sure why so many paid so much for the Denmark trip, and we are eco-centric moderates too.
