That show was on Network TV and is just the kind of thing that I try to AVOID. - I am guessing that it is a lightweight, light comedy. To me MOST network TV shows are just one small step above the lightweight romance-novel type shows aimed at a female audience. I realize that shows like that and romance novels do SELL massively, but they are just not for me - not my "cup of tea" as that saying goes. I prefer an action movie like "Saving Private Ryan". But I prefer Sci/Fi. My all time favorite would be "Prometheus" with Noomi Rapace. There are many, many that I liked including District 9, The Matrix, the man Who Fell to Earth, 12 Monkeys, Mad Max, Planet of the Apes, Mr Nobody, The 5th Element, and many others.

My older brother and his wife love How I Met Your Mother. I could not get into it . I do love Cheers, Frasier, Seinfeld and Friends is growing on me .
