I'm in the habit of just cutting up anything larger and stuffing it in a contractor bag then they will take it. There's a weight limit of like 40lbs, so multiple bags are required on occasions.
Ever since (in My area) under the new contract we pay more and get less service. Seems to happen every time contracts get renegotiated IMO
