Robert is a nice guy. His mother and aunt were very accommodating as well, but why wouldn't they be - we were buying.

We were up in his studio above Main Beach, above the store. Got a polaroid of us sitting next to him as he personalized and signed the rear cross brace of the frame. Keep that taped in an envelope to the rear for provenance sake and to prove origin to any future buyer. Also keep a recent appraisal from their HQ in the envelope.
