I buy a brand new car (sometimes 2 cars) every 2 years and I get the best price within a 350 mile radius from my desk chair, without driving 1 block.

I know what I want when I buy a new car. So I create an email alias (just 1) and I send out to all the dealers of the brand/car model I want with a 350 mile radius. I tell them the EXACT specs I want and I want to know the best out the door price for this car including all fees and sometimes when I trade in a car, I’ll tell them I have this car, it’s in excellent condition and I want this price for the trade in. I have dozens of dealers responding to my email. It always gets down to a final 2 or 3 and I let them know that I got this price from another dealer and I let them either come down, match the price, or offer goodies like lifetime warranty to sweeten the offer. Then when I got home, I deleted the alias and never received an email from any of these dozens of dealers. The days of so being 4-6 hours at a dealership trying to get the best deal are over.
