Gen z also gets to see the excesses and wealth of the boomer generation and how they themselves not only can't afford to buy a house but can barely afford an apartment. Wanna buy a new car? $30-40,000. Wanna buy a starter home? $350,000 in most areas of the country. Wanna go to college? $100,000+. Wanna find a job that pays a livable salary? Good luck, even after going to college.Don't get me wrong, many boomers worked hard for what they have but they also had the luxury of growing up in a time of unprecedented economic prosperity and opportunity. If I blame anyone for the mess we're in today it's baby boomers, specifically the 60s generation.

are you sure you don't mean GenX? the cost of everything is mostly attributed to time more than any generation. You can't expect a loaf of bread to cost the same today as it did in 1968. At the same time, everyone blames Boomers, they forget the damage Gen X did to this country. That damage in fact attributes to the increase costs you have identified. Take some time and check it and follow the trail before you blame a generation that did not have any luxury of growing up. NONE.
