I don't have any water filtration. But having read all the comments and the replies from Nova.. it seems they are telling you that their system fails when the water pressure goes over 90. And they happily report they are very aware that the water delivery here and the way the plumbing is installed makes that a likely event.
Quote:
The water system in TV is not pressure regulated at each home like other municipalities, they are designed with different size pipes in the street to in theory control pressure.
We have personally seen pressures over 100 =120 psi at times in different villages.

It seems to me that if a company is aware that the environment in which they install a product makes it likely that product will fail it is incumbent on that company to produce a product that can tolerate the environment (filters with a higher pressure tolerance) or that as a part of every single installation they should be including whatever devices are needed to prevent or mitigate failure. Whether that means pressure gauges, relief valves, bypass pipes...
Only a small percentage of Villagers are on TOTV. That there are so many failure reports on this thread is adequate evidence that NOVA needs to step up their materials or their installation procedures. Stop blaming the consumer for not foreseeing your device failures in the environment you know increased the likelihood of those failures.
