If you read up on the history of the Ryder Cup, you'll understand why it is all of Europe now and not still just G.B. & Ireland. While the populations are disparate, size wise Europe and the U.S. are very close.
On paper, with the individual's world rankings, we should be kicking Europe's rear, but it sure isn't turning out that way. Poor Scottie.
