Default alternatives to cruises
check out the ferry schedules. Just google ferry schedule and maybe Seattle, Vancouver, Juneau, etc. I checked a couple of weeks ago - not sure the schedules are out yet. I was looking pretty far out, so maybe you'll find what you want. Some of the ferries have cabins as you might be travelling overnight. Also check out Tripadvisor.com, especially the forums for Alaska.
