Two lane roundabouts are a poor and dangerous design. They are counter intuitive and should all be one lane. The problem is some are used to intersect one or more two lane roads... a bad idea. Even if all lanes entering and exiting a roundaabout are two lanes just like the round about itself, they are still confusing and dangerous, especially when you are mixing cars, golf carts, trucks, and bikes.
One lane roundabouts are fun and effective. Keep them on one lane ( in each direction) roads and mark them as one lane. Problem solved.
