Thanks Russ, I was hoping that was the case. For some reason the paths and trails are one of the biggest attractions for me. We aren't golfers.
My husband is (almost) 56 and can be based from home. I hope I can get him to work on getting an account or 2 near there when we visit, so he can begin to make Florida his largest base eventually.
I just found this forum yesterday, and found the threads concerning developers, IRS, bonds, CCD (what's that?). Anyway, I know most of you have made peace with whatever happens. I am still just dissappointed that the issue even exists. I hope it doesn't make it an impossibility for us to invest there. We can at least rent there during winters til we decide.
